Candidates for Local Election Update!
The following individuals have successfully filed to seek the Republican nomination for these offices at this year’s June 20th primary:
Botetourt Board of Supervisors
– Brandon Nicely
– Bobby Simmons
Valley District
– Dr. Mac Scothorn
– Robert Young
Blue Ridge District
– Walter Michael
– Billy Martin
The following Constitutional Officers were the only ones to file for their respective office and they will be the Republican nominee at the November General Election:
Commonwealth’s Attorney – John Alexander
Sheriff – Matt Ward
Commissioner of the Revenue – Chris Booth
Treasurer – Donna Boothe
We thank each of our Constitutional Officers for their service to the citizens of Botetourt County and congratulate them on becoming our Republican nominees!
