Fellow BCRC Members,
I hope each of you had a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year. 2020 has finally come to an end and we have a lot to look forward to in 2021 as we do our part to turn Virginia red.
After much consideration and input from fellow members, we will not hold our previously scheduled meeting that was set for January 12th at the old General District Courthouse. I had hoped we would have more information regarding the nomination process for statewide 2021 candidates so that information could be shared and discussed, but we do not. What I can tell you is that the State Central Committee will be meeting on January 16th to discuss the plans for an unassembled convention, similar to what many of the District Committees held in 2020.
As of now no dates, times or locations have been provided. Additionally, the number of Delegates local units can send to an assembled or unassembled convention is on hold until all the census data has been released and those numbers calculated.
